How we protect your information.

Last updated: August 1, 2026

Your privacy matters to us. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect when you visit our website, request a quote, interact with Mateo, our virtual assistant, or contact us, and how we protect it. It applies to the website www.caheglobal.com, to the Mateo virtual assistant on its web chat and WhatsApp channels, and to our forms and contact channels. By using our website or our services you accept the practices described in this policy. If you do not agree, we ask that you do not use our services.

1.Who we are

CAHE is the trade name under which two affiliated companies operate. Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A., a Venezuelan business corporation incorporated on June 19, 2007 before the Fifth Mercantile Registry of the Judicial District of the Capital District and Miranda State, under No. 6, Volume 1600-A, subsequently registered due to change of domicile before the Fourth Mercantile Registry of the Judicial District of Zulia State on September 4, 2013, under No. 42, Volume 92-A, Venezuelan Tax Information Registry (RIF) J-29460205-3, domiciled at La Chinita International Airport, Maracaibo, Zulia State, Venezuela. It is the operating entity for air cargo services, accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) and an individual member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA) for Venezuela. CAHE EXPRESS INC., a corporation incorporated in the State of Florida, United States of America, on March 19, 2009, Document Number P09000025566, EIN 26-4589256, with offices at 11555 Heron Bay Blvd, Suite 200, Coral Springs, Florida 33076. It handles billing and commercial representation in the United States and is not the transport operating entity.

In this policy, "CAHE", "we", "us" or "our" refers to the entity that processes your data according to the context of the relationship: the Venezuelan entity for cargo operations and contacts originating in Venezuela, and the Florida entity for billing and contacts originating in the United States.

You may contact us at maracaibo@caheglobal.com for matters handled from Venezuela, at miami@caheglobal.com for matters handled from the United States, or by phone at +1 (866) 901-6804.

2.Information we collect

Information you provide to us directly. Name, company, email address, telephone number and details of your request when you complete our contact form or request a quote. Messages and inquiries sent to Mateo, our virtual assistant, through the website chat or WhatsApp. Telephone number when you write to us on WhatsApp. Commercial and shipment information needed to quote or coordinate a service, such as origin, destination, type of goods, weight and dimensions.

Information collected automatically. Website usage data, pages visited, time spent, browser type and referring URL, through Google Analytics 4. Cookie and tracking data described in our Cookie Policy, subject to your prior consent through our consent manager.

We do not deliberately collect special categories of personal data or payment information through the website.

3.How we use your information

We use the information collected to respond to inquiries and quote requests, coordinate and provide air cargo services, customs brokerage through affiliated companies and critical solutions, operate and improve Mateo, our virtual assistant, send service communications related to your inquiries and shipments, analyze website traffic and improve our digital presence, measure the effectiveness of our advertising, comply with applicable legal obligations in Venezuela and the United States, and exercise and protect our legal rights.

We do not sell, rent or transfer your personal information to third parties for those third parties' own marketing purposes.

4.Mateo, our artificial intelligence virtual assistant

Mateo is CAHE's virtual assistant, powered by artificial intelligence. It is available as a chat on our website and as an assistant on our WhatsApp line.

Website chat. When you write in the chat, your messages are processed by the commercial application programming interface (API) of Anthropic, PBC, provider of the Claude language model. Under Anthropic's commercial terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train its artificial intelligence models, and in accordance with the retention policy published by Anthropic for its commercial API, inputs and outputs are automatically deleted from its systems within a maximum of 30 days, unless the law requires longer retention.

WhatsApp. When you write to our WhatsApp line +58 412-1077647, your messages are transmitted through the WhatsApp Business platform of Meta Platforms, Inc. and are processed by the same Anthropic API to generate the response. The use of WhatsApp is also subject to WhatsApp's privacy policy.

Voice assistant. Mateo answers calls on our number +1 (866) 901-6804. Calls may be recorded and monitored for quality and security purposes, and you are informed of this at the beginning of each call. The voice infrastructure is operated by VAPI Inc., which uses Deepgram Inc. for speech-to-text transcription, ElevenLabs Inc. for voice synthesis, and the Anthropic API as the language model. Telephony for the number is provided by Twilio Inc. Because our voice service does not use zero data retention, VAPI retains audio recordings, transcripts and call logs in accordance with its retention policy, available at vapi.ai/privacy. If you wish to request the deletion of your call data, contact us and we will arrange the deletion with the provider on your behalf.

Conversational memory. To maintain the thread of the conversation, Mateo temporarily stores the context of your chat in a managed Redis database (Upstash, Inc., us-east-1 region, United States, encrypted connection via TLS), under an account operated by CAHE. That memory is automatically deleted after 7 days.

If your inquiry requires human attention, our team receives it and responds through the same channel. Mateo does not make decisions with legal effects on you; quotes and commercial commitments are issued and validated by our team.

5.Service providers

We work with the following providers, which process data on our behalf, each under its own privacy policy.
