Since 2007, CAHE has operated from Venezuela to international standards. CAHE is the trade name under which Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A., a Venezuelan business corporation, and CAHE EXPRESS INC., a Florida corporation, United States, operate, both fully identified in this site's Legal Notice. Compliance is not a formality for us: it is the foundation of the trust that allows us to move the cargo others do not dare to touch. On this page we present our accreditations, memberships and commitments, with the public sources where they can be verified.

IATA accreditation

Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A. has been a cargo agent accredited by the International Air Transport Association (IATA) since 2010, agent code 9510030. The accreditation falls under IATA's Latin American Air Cargo Programme (LAACP), the regional program that formally recognizes the cargo intermediary role in Venezuela. The accreditation can be verified in IATA's public CargoLink directory, which lists the accredited agents of the global CASS system.

FIATA membership

Representaciones C.A.H.E., C.A. is an individual member of the International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA), the global organization of the freight forwarding industry. Membership can be verified in FIATA's public member directory for Venezuela. Our Standard Service Conditions incorporate the FIATA Model Rules for Freight Forwarding Services, the industry's contractual frame of reference.

Customs brokerage

Customs brokerage services in Venezuela are provided through our affiliated company Adelcomar, C.A., a customs agency with a track record dating back to 1981, under Venezuelan customs legislation and the authority of the national customs service.

Operation under IATA regulations

Our operation applies the IATA technical regulations corresponding to each type of cargo, including the Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR), the Perishable Cargo Regulations (PCR) and the Live Animals Regulations (LAR). For the cold chain and sensitive shipments, we select airlines and providers with the certifications corresponding to each requirement.

Quality

CAHE operates with a documented management system, with policies, procedures and records that support supplier qualification audits by corporate clients, and is advancing the preparation of its quality management system toward ISO 9001 certification.

Business integrity

We conduct our operations in accordance with applicable anti-corruption and sanctions laws, including Venezuelan legislation and the United States Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. We apply due diligence to the parties and cargo we handle and cooperate with our clients' qualification and audit processes.
